A Warm Welcome
Upon your arrival at Casablanca’s Mohamed V Airport, you will be greeted by your private driver-guide to begin your 6-Day Grand Discovery. We depart immediately for the scenic journey toward the Sahara, trading the Atlantic coast for the rugged beauty of the interior.
The Atlas & Midelt
Our route takes us through the heart of the Middle Atlas Mountains. We make a stop in Midelt, a high-altitude town perfectly positioned between the Middle and High Atlas ranges, offering a dramatic backdrop for our journey south.
The Ziz River Valley
We continue through the magnificent Ziz Gorges, following the path carved by the Ziz River. As we pass through Errachidia, you will witness the landscape undergo a spectacular transformation—moving from jagged mountain peaks into the lush, palm-filled valleys that signal the proximity of the desert.
Gateway to the Dunes
In the late afternoon, the environment becomes fully desertic as we reach Erfoud, the “Gate of the Sahara.” Here, we check into our hotel to rest and recharge for the night, preparing for the deep desert exploration awaiting us tomorrow.
The Tafilalt Transition
We depart Erfoud for the short drive to Merzouga. As we leave the Atlas foothills behind, you’ll witness a dramatic transition into the most diverse part of the Sahara. From volcanic rock plains to the towering golden walls of the Erg Chebbi, this route showcases the desert’s true scale.
Off-Road 4×4 Adventure
Upon reaching the dunes, we switch to a private 4×4 for an immersive desert excursion. We’ll navigate through dry riverbeds (Wadis) and across the vast “Hamada” (stone desert) to visit a Nomadic family. Here, you’ll share a traditional tea and gain insight into how they have adapted to life in this beautiful, shifting landscape.
The Rhythms of Khamlia
Our cultural exploration continues in the village of Khamlia. You will be invited to listen to the soul-stirring rhythms of Gnawa music, performed by descendants of sub-Saharan Africa whose spiritual songs are the heartbeat of the desert.
Sunset Camel Trek
In the late afternoon, trade your vehicle for a camel caravan. You will trek deep into the golden Erg Chebbi dunes, reaching the summit of a high ridge just as the sun begins to set—an experience that is nothing short of cinematic.
A Night of Saharan Magic
Arrive at our Luxury Desert Camp, featuring premium tents with comfortable beds and private en-suite showers. After a gourmet Moroccan dinner, we gather around the campfire for a traditional Berber drum session. Under a sky completely free of light pollution, you’ll enjoy “nature’s own cinema”—a breathtaking canopy of endless stars.
A Silhouette at Dawn
We wake with the first light of day to witness the “mountain-like sand dunes” as they emerge from the shadows. Watching the shifting silhouettes of the Sahara floating against the morning sky is a transformative moment that often remains the most vivid memory of a traveler’s heart.
Rissani: The City of Fossils
After our final desert breakfast, we return to the village of Merzouga and begin our journey toward the mountains. We stop in Rissani, the historic capital of Tafilalet and a world-renowned fossil hub. Here, you will explore a fossil workshop to see prehistoric treasures unearthed from the very desert you just traversed.
Tinghir & The Great Oasis
Our route leads us to the picturesque town of Tinghir, nestled in the heart of a massive palm grove. We pause for a panoramic photograph, capturing the striking contrast between the emerald-green valley and the rugged limestone hills.
The Giant Todra Gorge
We proceed to the spectacular Todra Gorge, where massive rock walls rise 300 meters high. You’ll have the opportunity to take a “thrilling hike” or a slow walk along the riverbed, followed by lunch at a local restaurant situated deep within the canyon.
The Fantastic World of Dades
Our day concludes as we enter the Dades Gorge. You will step into a fantastic world of jagged rock formations (known as “Monkey Fingers”) and incredible adobe architecture, where we stay overnight surrounded by the valley’s awe-inspiring beauty.
The Valley of Roses & Skoura Oasis
We begin with a morning drive through the Dades Gorges before heading toward Kalaat M’Gouna, the heart of the “Rose Valley.” Our expedition continues through the lush Skoura Oasis, a vast, green “island” of date palms crisscrossed by ancient river canals.
Ouarzazate: The Hollywood of Morocco
A short 30-minute drive brings us to Ouarzazate. Known globally as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” this city is a hive of cinematic activity. We will explore the historic Kasbah Taourirt, a cornerstone of the city’s heritage, and visit the Cinema Museum and the Atlas Film Studios to see where legendary movies come to life.
UNESCO Heritage at Ait Ben Haddou
Our next stop is the iconic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Famed as a primary filming location for Game of Thrones, this ancient fortified village has become a global landmark. You will have an hour-long excursion to wander its winding streets and learn how cinema has helped preserve this architectural jewel.
The High Atlas & Tizi n’Tichka Pass
We then begin our ascent of the High Atlas Mountains via the legendary Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Reaching an altitude of 2,260 meters, this is one of the most scenic roads in Morocco. We will make several photo stops to capture the panoramic views of verdant valleys, adobe villages, and the atmospheric ruins of ancient kasbahs.
Arrival in the Red City
After a spectacular 4-hour mountain drive, we arrive in Marrakech. Upon checking into your hotel, you can enjoy a well-deserved rest or take advantage of your free time to begin exploring the vibrant streets of the Red City at your own pace.
The Sultan’s Legacy
This is undoubtedly one of the premier highlights of your 6-Day Tour from Casablanca. After breakfast, the entire day is dedicated to exploring the “Pearl of the South.” As a former imperial capital, Marrakech is a living museum of sultanate history, boasting a vast collection of architectural masterpieces where every monument is a unique work of art.
Morning Monumental Exploration
We spend the morning uncovering the city’s most significant landmarks. You will visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, the serene Menara Pavilion with its expansive olive groves, and the Saadian Tombs, which showcase the height of palace architecture. We continue to the intricate Bahia Palace, the ruins of El Badii, and the world-renowned, cobalt-blue Jardin Majorelle.
The Living Theater of Jemaa el-Fnaa
In the afternoon, we immerse ourselves in the most vibrant marketplace in Morocco. You will wander through the winding alleys of the old city and the bustling Souks, where the scents of spices fill the air.
Authentic Magic
As day turns to night, we enter the legendary Jemaa el-Fnaa square. This is no stage-managed theater; it is a real-time spectacle where snake charmers, soothsayers, sorcerers, and spice merchants gather in a tradition that has remained unchanged for centuries. It is a sensory immersion that captures the true essence of Marrakech.
Your Morning, Your Way
On the final day of your 6-Day Grand Discovery, enjoy some well-deserved free time to experience Marrakech at your own pace. Whether you choose to enjoy a final Moroccan mint tea on a rooftop overlooking the Medina, hunt for last-minute treasures in the souks, or simply relax at your Riad, the morning is yours to savor.
Seamless Airport Transfer
Depending on your flight schedule, your private driver will provide a comfortable transfer to the airport. We offer flexible departures from either Marrakech Menara Airport or a return drive to Casablanca’s Mohamed V International Airport.

Yes. We offer complimentary pickup from Mohammed V International Airport. Your driver will meet you at the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name. Alternatively, we can pick you up from any hotel or Riad in Casablanca.
This tour typically ends in Marrakech, which is the most convenient city for international departures or further travel. However, if your flight departs from Casablanca, we can easily customize the final day to include a transfer back to Casablanca for you..
While Morocco has enough magic to last a lifetime, 6 days is a “sweet spot.” It allows us to cover the three most important regions: the modern and political coast (Casablanca/Rabat), the spiritual heart (Fes), and the natural wonders of the Sahara Desert and High Atlas Mountains.
This itinerary is a “best of” collection:
Hassan II Mosque. A masterpiece of Moroccan architecture in Casablanca.
The Royal Landmarks. The Hassan Tower and Oudaya Kasbah in Rabat.
The Medieval Medina. A full guided day in Fes el-Bali.
The Sahara Desert. A camel trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.
The Hollywood of Morocco. Ait Ben Haddou and the film studios in Ouarzazate.
The Red City. The vibrant Jemaa El Fna square in Marrakech.
Yes! While we provide private transportation and guided tours of the historical sites, we believe in “flexible travel.” You will have free evenings in Fes and Marrakech to enjoy a local dinner or wander the markets at your own pace.
The standard 6-day route goes from Fes directly to the desert. If Chefchaouen is a “must-see” for you, we can modify the itinerary to include it, though it may make the schedule a bit more fast-paced.
You will spend the night in a traditional Berber-style tent. We offer two levels of comfort:
Standard. Private tents with comfortable beds and shared bathroom facilities.
Luxury. Larger private tents with “real” furniture, en-suite bathrooms, and hot showers.
Absolutely. Our camels are well-trained and led by experienced local handlers. The trek to the camp lasts about 1 to 1.5 hours and is suitable for all ages. If you prefer, a 4×4 vehicle transfer is available at no extra cost.
For the night at the camp, we recommend:
A small “overnight bag” (your main luggage stays in the car).
A warm jacket or fleece (desert temperatures drop significantly at night).
A scarf or “Cheche” to protect against sun and wind.
A power bank for your phone (though luxury tents have outlets).
We pride ourselves on transparency. Your tour includes private transport, fuel, driver/guide, accommodations, breakfasts, and dinners in the desert/Dades. We also cover any entrance fees.
Yes! Moroccan hospitality is very accommodating. Please let us know your dietary needs at the time of booking so we can ensure our hosts at the Riads and desert camps prepare appropriate (and delicious) meals for you.
This is a 100% private tour. You will have your own dedicated vehicle and driver. This means the schedule is flexible—if you want to stop for a photo or spend more time at a specific landmark, you can!
While many places in cities accept credit cards, you will need Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) for small purchases, lunches, and tips. Your driver can assist you in finding a reputable ATM or currency exchange upon your arrival.
