The drive to the Erg Chebbi dunes is approximately 9–10 hours of driving time. However, we break this up over two days (usually stopping in Dades Valley or Ouarzazate) to ensure you enjoy the scenic stops, Kasbahs, and mountain passes along the way.

We recommend comfortable clothing, sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen. Even in summer, the desert can get cool at night, so bring a light jacket. In winter, you will need a warm coat. Generally, breakfast and dinner are included in all our multi-day tours. Lunches and drinks are usually left to your choice so you can explore local cafes along the route. We always stop at reputable, clean restaurants.

Yes! Moroccan cuisine is very friendly to vegetarians and vegans (think vegetable tagines, couscous, and fresh salads). Please just let us know your dietary requirements at the time of booking so we can inform our hosts and camps.

We specialize in private tours. This means you will have your own dedicated vehicle and driver/guide. This allows for total flexibility—if you want to stop for a photo or spend more time in a village, the schedule is yours.

Yes. Our drivers are highly experienced with the Tizi n’Tichka pass and mountain terrain. We use modern, air-conditioned 4×4 vehicles or minivans that are regularly inspected and fully insured.
