Day 1: Tangier to the blue city

Receive you at the airport, Ports or from your hotel in Tangier. Meeting the driver, then we visit Tangier Medina for short before we proceed to Chefchaouen via Tetouan if time allows.

Day 2: Blue City – Volubilis / Meknes – Fes

A breakfast at your hotel and then sets off to Ouarzazate through Volubilis and Meknes. We will also go to Volubilis (UNESCO world heritage), it was established in the 40s BC, and it is one of the best-preserved monuments of the Roman era in North Africa. The ruins are huge in size and scattered over the beautiful green fields. It has stunning facilities, palaces, and baths, all with magnificent mosaics. The next destination is Meknes, one of the imperial cities. After the short city tour, we will have a lunch break before heading to Fez for an overnight.

Day 3: Visit of Fes 

We will do sightseeing in the cultural and religious capital of the Kingdom. You will plunge into the magical atmosphere of a medieval oriental city, walk along the crooked and narrow streets of the ancient Medina, and get acquainted with the numerous historical and architectural monuments that adorned the former capital of the Kingdom of the Sultans from the Merinid and Alaouite dynasties.

Most of these monuments are excellent examples of the Moorish architectural style. You will visit the Bu Inanya mosque, see the madrassas (Muslim universities), Nejarin square, and the fountain. you will find yourself in the handicraft quarters, where leather and pottery craftsmen work according to the technology they inherited from their grandfathers and great-grandfathers, whose secrets are carefully transferred from generation to generation. Then we will continue to the Jewish quarter that is still present now. It shows the co-existence of the 2 communities, Muslims and Jewish.

Day 4: Fes to desert

The departure for the desert is today. After breakfast, we check out and head towards Merzouga, the road is one of the longest, around 7hrs drive, however, with the change of landscapes, the time will pass. Afterward, we will do a brief stop at Ifrane that it has European nature and climate, parks with lakes and chalets, a ski resort, and abundance of snow during the winter and then this is a Moroccan Switzerland name of the town. Near Ifrane, we will have an opportunity to worship at the huge Atlas cedars and treat the wild monkeys on the way to Azrou. The monkeys are amicable, they are happy when someone feeds them.Lunch stop in Midelt. In addition, our road will traverse the gorge and the valley of the Ziz River, and as we near Er-Rashidiya, the appearance will transform into that of a desert.  Overnight in Merzouga.

Day 5: Desert to Dades

For the sixth day of our 9-Day Tour From Tangier, we shall rise with the sun to see it rise over the awe inspiring and peaceful sand dunes. This moment is going to be one of the most memorable impressions in Morocco!

We will leave the desert after breakfast and come to the village of Merzouga and proceed to Dades. In transit, we will visit Rissani that has “The fossil factory”, where you see the fossils that are found in abundance in this region. In about 3 hours, we will have a break for a panorama photo near the attractive town of Tinghir in the middle of a huge palm oasis. Afterwards, we will make our way to the renowned Todra Gorge, Have a walk along the gorge and have lunch at a local restaurant. Our trip through the charming village of Dades is going to proceed.

Day 6: Dades to Marrakech

For the second day of your 9-Day Tour From Tangier, we will make a short drive to Dades gorges and then we will move on to Ouarzazat. Our route will take us through Mgouna that holds an annual roses festival. Our travels will proceed to Skura oasis. It is a rich palm oasis watered by several streams. Afterward, you go to Ouarzazate, just a 30-minute ride from Skura. This city is referred to as the “Moroccan Hollywood” because many famous historical films were shot here. We can thus visit Kasbah Taurirt, then the Cinema Museum, Atlas film studio. After, we will drive to Ait Ben Hadou, a world UNESCO heritage, this place is popular with many people as it is where the Game Of Thrones was filmed. From here we will proceed to Marrakesh through highest Atlas Mountains, Tizi n-Tishka at an elevation of 2260m (3.5-4 hours tourist-free). Photo stops will be included. It is one of the most beautiful roads of Morocco, that provides a view of the green river valleys with adobe villages, and the remains of the ancient kasbahs. Then we will drive to Marrakech. We can take a break at the hotel, and you have your own time.

Day 7: Visit of Marrakech

Our day will start with an eye-opening breakfast and then we’ll be devoted to the whole day visiting the amazing historical city of Marrakesh.
