Conquering the Jbiletes
We head into the open stone desert. Here, the tracks widen and the terrain becomes more varied. You’ll climb “black mountain” hills for 360-degree views of the High Atlas and zip across dried-out wadis (riverbeds).
The Berber Hospitality Stop

We take you to the Agafay Desert or the Palmeraie (Palm Grove), depending on the terrain you prefer. Agafay offers a rugged, “lunar” stone desert landscape with Atlas Mountain views, while the Palmeraie features thousands of palm trees and traditional mud-brick villages.
While both are off-road vehicles, a Buggy is generally more comfortable and stable. It features a side-by-side seating arrangement (like a car), a steering wheel, foot pedals, and a roll cage for extra safety. A Quad is a straddle-seated vehicle (like a motorcycle) with handlebar steering.
The standard adventure lasts approximately 3 to 4 hours, including private hotel transfers. You will spend about 2 hours of actual “ride time” on the trails, with a break for traditional mint tea in a Berber village.
You do not need a formal driver’s license to drive our buggies, as we operate on private desert trails. However, the driver must be at least 16 years old and have a basic understanding of vehicle control.
Yes! Buggies are very popular with families because they are more stable than quads. Children as young as 6 years old can join as passengers in the side-by-side seat. We provide all necessary safety gear, including helmets and goggles.
For your safety and to ensure you see the best viewpoints, you will be accompanied by a professional private guide on their own vehicle. They will lead the way, manage the pace based on your skill level, and handle any technical needs during the tour.
Expect to get dusty! We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty. Long trousers and closed-toe shoes (sneakers) are essential. We provide a “Cheich” (traditional scarf) to protect your face from dust and the sun.
No. At Perfectly Morocco Tours, our price is 100% all-inclusive. This covers your private hotel pickup/drop-off, the buggy rental, fuel, safety equipment, your guide, and the traditional tea break. Any local area fees are already covered in your booking.
Not at all. Most of our guests are first-timers. Before the tour begins, your guide will give you a full safety briefing and a 10-minute “test drive” to help you get comfortable with the controls (acceleration, braking, and steering).
Marrakech is sunny most of the year, but if it does rain, the tour becomes even more fun! Riding a buggy through the mud in the Palmeraie is an incredible experience. However, if the weather is truly extreme, we offer a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Yes! The “Golden Hour” in the Agafay Desert is spectacular. We can arrange a late afternoon departure so you can experience the thrill of the trails and then stop to watch the sun set over the snow-capped Atlas Mountains.
